From critical updates on the Building Safety Act to interactive sessions on conflict resolution, it was a day packed with learning and nurturing industry connections.
“It was great to attend MATS this year. The conversations about the Building Safety Act were invaluable, and I really enjoyed the conflict role play in the afternoon. This got me thinking about a key risk that is often overlooked and what we can do to improve the support for our teams.” – Victoria Cope, KTL Compliance Manager.
For Jon Evans, KTL SHEQ Coordinator who attended for the first time, the event offered an opportunity to explore the broader Telecoms landscape:
“I enjoyed seeing the supplier stands and learning more about the industry and its key players. It was interesting to see how competitors and clients all come together to determine industry standards as one collective group.”
And Sophie Gallagher, KTL Environmental Coordinator found the hands-on learning particularly impactful: “The interactive live role-play on conflict resolution, where they used professional actors was a great way to demonstrate how to deal with conflicts when they arise on site.”
Thanks to the MATS Group for putting on such a well-organised and insightful event. We’re already looking forward to next year!
