WORKING FOR KTL
At KTL, we are all about building and maintaining a great team. We know that it is our people who make the company consistently successful, and we do what we can to recognise and reward that. We are immensely proud of our 507 full-time staff, based across five continents and 22 countries, who make KTL a truly diverse and inclusive organisation.
We believe that investing in our people will help them, and us, grow, so we are constantly looking to create progression opportunities. We are committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and positive environment that allows our employees to perform at their best.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
People with fresh eyes and fresh ideas contribute massively to the innovation that sets KTL apart, and we know that building a diverse team is one of the best ways to remain an industry leader.
We do everything we can to celebrate differences and encourage inclusivity. Feel free to be yourself and do your best!
We welcome talented people from a wide range of backgrounds who can help us in our mission to continue growing a sustainable business while being recognised as a reliable partner for our customers. In return, we offer the opportunity to be part of a thriving business with real purpose, great benefits, development opportunities and an inclusive culture.
WHAT IS IMPORTANT TO US
Since launching in 1998, KTL has grown organically, but our ethos has remained the same: never give up, never fail. This attitude resonates throughout our organisation, and is the key mentality we want our employees to adopt.
We actively encourage team building, with activity days to improve our communication skills, increase motivation and collaboration.
There is an emphasis on flexibility for positive work-life balance and an environment that promotes development. As far as safety is concerned, the simple goal is to ensure everyone returns home safely every day.

#SWAN
How can you belong in a place where people can’t say your name?
#SWAN is a simple, yet powerfully inclusive concept. The Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging team at Version 1 asked their employees to do a simple act: to put the phonetic pronunciation of their name on their email signature. That’s the premise of the Version 1 SWAN #StartsWithAName movement.
Why is name pronunciation important? You’ve lived with your name all your life. You turn your head instinctively when you hear it. It is an intrinsic part of you. However, when you consider your name with a diversity focus in mind, it can suddenly become quite clear that your name might not be so easily pronounced in a different country.
This campaign is designed to engender respect, recognise, promote, celebrate and embrace individuality and provide a simple platform for the promulgation of a wider adoption of the concept.
Here in KTL, we pride ourselves on having a very diverse workplace with team members from all over the world. With that diversity comes a lot of very different names!
