KTL proudly sponsored Team Power of 1's, World's Toughest Row earlier this year. We recently spoke with John O'Driscoll and Enda McNicholas, two members of the five-man crew who took on the row in memory of John’s daughter, Saoirse O’Driscoll. Saoirse sadly passed away April 16th, 2024, from congenital heart disease at just 13 years old. 

The 5,200-kilometer, 39½-day row across the unforgiving Atlantic Ocean—was undertaken to raise awareness for organ donation and support two charities: Heart Children Ireland and The Children’s Heart Foundation Crumlin.

John and Enda provided powerful lessons in project management and how they meticulously planned their mission for three years in advance of the race in December 2024. 

They rowed through storms, navigated setbacks, and pushed forward as a strong team. They placed 3rd overall – an incredible achievement.
