KTL was delighted to return to St. Ambrose High School in Coatbridge, North Lanarkshire, Scotland, for the 2025 Careers Fair, continuing its commitment to shaping the future workforce.
Representing the company were Paul Korzeniewski, KTL Business Development Director UK, and Ava Kerr, Project Manager, both eager to connect with students and share insights into the evolving telecoms industry.
Paul, a proud alumnus of St. Ambrose, expressed his enthusiasm: “It was fantastic to be back at my former school and witness the increasing interest in telecoms careers. The chance to guide students on the diverse paths available—whether through apprenticeships, college, or university—is rewarding.”
Ava observed a surge in attendance this year, particularly among younger students, marking a shift in early career awareness.
“There was a noticeable buzz around apprenticeship opportunities—whether graduate or modern apprenticeships—which shows a promising trend in career preparedness,” she remarked.
A meaningful discussion with the school’s career advisor stood out.
He expressed interest in a potential KTL-led session to provide students with a hands-on look at telecoms, particularly the design aspects involving CAD and technical drawings. “Students were eager to understand the technical side of our work, which opens the door for deeper engagement in the future,” Ava noted.
Paul added, “Investing in young professionals is critical. Events like this allow us to inspire students and demonstrate how they can contribute to a more connected, progressive future.”
