March 17th marks St. Patrick’s Day with celebrations in many parts of the world.

The religious holiday dates to 1631 when the church established a feast day honouring St. Patrick, a Patron Saint credited as the most successful and famous Christian missionary in Ireland.

Over time, this event became a celebration of Irish culture packed with parades, charms, food, and all things green!

Celebrated as a national holiday in Ireland, it is also merrily observed across the globe.
