Italy Republic Day or Festa Della Repubblica is a national holiday on June 2nd, 2022. It celebrates the day Italians voted to abolish the monarchy in 1946 to become a republic.
We spoke about Italy Republic Day with Christian D’Agostino, CAD Technician KTL. Christian shared with us a couple of things most people wouldn’t know about Italy. “Chicken with pasta, or rice – this combination is only on the menu when you feel sick or are in hospital. I cannot believe people pay for eating it at a restaurant!”
“In Italy nobody asks you to spell words, you read how you speak and speak how you read.”
As the Italian flags are hoisted for this special day, we would like to wish everyone celebrating a Happy Italy Republic Day.
