Almost at the half way point! 😊

This week, we are featuring Jason Winter, SHEQ Advisor KTL who shared with us his incredible story back to exercise and some stunning photos of Crib y Ddysgl, Snowdon in Wales.

Jason shared, “I am a keen climber and enjoy scrambling but since my fall off of Tryfan Mountain in Ogwen Valley, Snowdonia, Wales – my exercise routine took a knockback. I needed a helicopter ride back off the mountains after my fall and it took 12 months of painful rehab and healing to get right again - I have only recently returned to the mountains and the #KTL60DaysExerciseChallenge was just the kickstart I needed to get back out there . I have stuck to roped climbing and avoided the freedom of scrambling that I loved so much before falling and shattering the ball of my humerus into 15 odd pieces.”

“Recently, I was back bagging peaks via Crib Coch, Crib y Ddysgl then descending Snowdon. Arriving in the dark with head torches, to catch the sunrise from Crib Coch the challenge was, although my shoulder is fixed, I needed to get my head game back, the KTL challenge was just the ticket. Spurred on by my wife Dawn - a fearless mountain goat of a climber, we took a friend up to experience the crisp frozen mountain experience with us.”

Check out the stunning photos in this short video.
