What is your background? I moved to the UK after graduating from Bucharest University with a degree in Economic Studies.
What brought you to KTL? My husband was working for KTL in Ireland, and in 2014 we moved the family over from Bucharest so we could be together. A year later I began working for the company as well.
Has your role changed at all? Yes! I started as a project coordinator, doing site access, providing site health and safety documentation, and liaising with clients. In 2016, I moved to accounts department, and since 2018 I’ve been working as a commercial manager. I’ve loved changing roles because it’s given me the opportunity to meet and interact with so many people, which has helped me gain experience, develop skills, and improve my English. I’m constantly learning.
