#Anxiety is the theme of this year's Mental Health Awareness Week 2023.

Anxiety is a natural response to the uncertainties confronting us in the world today. This is a normal emotion, but it can sometimes get out of control and become a mental health problem.

However, it is important to recognise and respond when we feel anxious, to ensure that such anxiety does not become overwhelming.

This year's Mental Health Awareness Week is from the 15th to the 21st of May, which is focusing on increasing awareness and the understanding of anxiety by providing information that can help prevent it from becoming a problem.
