#KTL enables superfast #4G for the UK’s number one mobile network at #ReadingFestival 2022.
The Reading Festival is held simultaneously with the Leeds Festival in England on the UK August bank holiday weekend. The events take place on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 26th – 28th August.
The Reading Festival is held on a farm in the centre of Reading - Little John's Farm on Richfield Avenue and has a huge capacity of up to 90,000 people.
KTL’s client, the UK’s number one network knows how important it is for festivalgoers to stay connected sharing their experiences with friends and family over the weekend, “We installed an E-Band 80 GHz high-capacity microwave link to support superfast 4G for festivalgoers over the weekend,” commented Barry Neary, KTL Project Director.
The festival dates back to 1961 and offers numerous genres of music including rock, alternative, indie, punk, and metal along with top comedians and much more.
Headlining for 2022 across the two festivals will be Arctic Monkeys, Dave, Megan Thee Stallion, Rage Against The Machine, Halsey and Bring Me The Horizon.
