KTL boosts 5G and 4G coverage and capacity for the UK’s number one network at #CommonwealthGames 2022
The Commonwealth Games – an international multi-sport event involving world class athletes from the Commonwealth of Nations is taking place in the vibrant and richly diverse city of Birmingham from the 28th July – 8th August.
The Games are expected to welcome 12,000 athletes, media, and games family, a 41,000 workforce, over one million spectators and attract a global TV audience of over 1.5 billion over the 10-day sporting event.
Barry Neary, Project Director KTL said, “KTL installed an E-Band 80 GHz high-capacity microwave link to support uninterrupted coverage and boost capacity for our client’s customers at the Games.”
