Drivers can get fined up to £1,000 get 6 points on their license, and a driving ban.
Coinciding with this law, THINK! has launched a new campaign named ‘Guardian Mates’ to generate awareness to help reduce handheld phone use.
Aimed at getting drivers to confront their behaviour, the campaign revolves around a series of impactful short films and radio ads, which show mates intervening and stopping their driving buddy from picking up the phone while driving.
