Croft Circuit Roundup, Caterham Roadsport Championship
June 28–29, 2025
What a weekend! Croft proved once again that Caterham racing delivers non-stop action—and Dan Crawley was right in the mix.
After a confident start and a strong showing at Anglesey, Dan lined up at Croft determined to build on his championship momentum. Here's how it played out:
Race 1
Dan got off to a flying start, jumping from 7th to 5th early on. But in the final corner, a missed upshift from 2nd to 3rd cost two crucial places. Despite battling overheating tyres and contact from a fellow racer, he held his own in a fiercely close pack. Final Position: P9
“I felt good going into it – the pace was there. Despite a gearbox issue, I’m happy with how I drove.” – Dan Crawley
Race 2
With the car reset and focus renewed, Dan returned to the track and delivered a determined performance.
Although managing to avoid a four-car pileup in the last corner early in the race Dan had nowhere to go and lost vital positions, but Dan held his nerve. Final Position: P9
Championship Standings (after 4 races): Overall Position: P7
Croft was intense—tight corners, tight margins, and no room for error—but Dan is building race by race.
Next Stop: Zandvoort GP, 26th and 27th July 2025.
