The word “Lent” comes from the time of year when days begin to lengthen, symbolising hope and new beginnings.
Traditionally marked by abstaining from certain foods like meat and eggs, it’s now often observed by giving up a favourite treat or food, small comforts, or habits.
It’s a time to pause, reset, and refocus on what matters most.
Wishing everyone celebrating a thoughtful and peaceful Lent.
