Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines, spatial databases, and analytics tools to support the company’s power network operations.
Job Scope
Needs to Have
-
Bachelor’s degree in Geographic Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field.

At least 3 years of experience in data engineering or GIS data management, preferably in the utilities sector (Electricity, Telecom, Water and Gas).

Strong proficiency with ArcGIS Online, Esri geodatabases, feature services, and data models
-
Strong understanding of coordinate systems, projections, and spatial reference management.

Familiarity with public sector geospatial datasets in Ireland and the UK.

Familiarity with cloud environments (Azure), ERP systems (NetSuite) and APIs an advantage.

Develop and manage ArcGIS Online content, including layers, dashboards, and mapping applications (Field Maps and Survey123) to support project teams.

Implement data governance, metadata management, and quality assurance for spatial datasets.

Collaborate with project managers, planners and end users to integrate ArcGIS, company and client software tools into project workflows.

Prepare data packages and technical deliverables for submission to clients and customers.

Develop and maintain interactive dashboards, map series, and automated mapping workflows to enhance project efficiency.

Participate in internal training and continuous professional development to stay abreast of emerging ArcGIS and KTL technologies and tools.

Assist in the mentoring of junior staff and contribute to knowledge sharing across the Power and wider company teams.
