Job Scope

Support the Senior Management Team in the implementation of the Company SHEQ systems to ensure best practice and champion a ‘safety’ behaviour culture within the business.

Need to have

Qualification in OHS essential
Full Driving Licence
Minimum 1 years’ experience in a similar role and experience in dealing with HSA and other external regulatory bodies desirable
Experience in a Telecoms/Power/Energy project management environment an advantage

Need to do

Complete company H&S Induction as required and maintain records
Complete, review SHEQ documentation required for projects, and maintain as required
Carry out H&S audits during construction of projects
Provide toolbox talks / seminars and training as appropriate
Preparation of site specific risk assessments when required
Co-ordinate accidents & incident management follow-up process
Assist with sourcing and organising of training both internal and external
Analysis of Safety Audit Deviations and Near Miss / Good Catches reported to identify trends and develop preventative measures
Provide feedback to crews on actions taken as a result of Safety Audit Deviations and Near Misses / Good Catches reported.
Monitor/update system for calibration/inspection of all safety equipment including harnesses, equipment, first-aid equipment etc.
Compiling and updating all safety documentation on site
Review Current Risk Assessments as required
Monitor waste management process on site to ensure compliance with current environmental legislation and in line with Company objectives
Maintain weekly SHEQ trackers, and provide weekly SHEQ reports to senior managers
Liaise with client representatives

Strong communicator (verbal and written)
Self-starter who can operate effectively in a dynamic and fast paced organization
