Job Scope:

The Acquisition Surveyor is responsible for the delivery and project management of all acquisition and planning activities required to achieve legal access across an assigned number of sites.

Needs to Have:

  • Degree level qualification in a related discipline i.e. Surveying, Town Planning, Estate Management

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role

  • Strong, demonstrable track record of delivery on telecoms upgrade projects

  • A good understanding of related disciplines within telecoms project delivery environment including design and build

  • Competent use of excel, smart sheets and other reporting tools as may be required

Needs to Do:

  • Take responsibility for acquisition delivery across company projects 

  • Analyse legal agreements and subsequent determination of acquisition type

  • Complete acquisition activities to achieve legal access including securing Site Provider Consent, Lease Renewals, Rent Reviews 

  • Complete Town Planning activities to achieve legal access including Licence Notifications (Regulation 5), General Permitted Development Orders (GPDO), Full Planning, Listed Building Consent etc

  • Instruct work to 3rd party suppliers and contractors for the completion of acquisition and Town Planning activities where necessary and the subsequent management of performance

  • Conduct all business in a professional and courteous manner when liaising with clients, planning officers, site providers, internal staff and all other key stakeholders

  • Meet both internal and external KPI and SLA targets in relation to the delivery of all acquisition activities and ensure forecasting is accurate and communicated to the client 

  • Adhere to all company procedures and health and safety protocols

  • Keep up to date and accurate records of all internal and external databases and keep records of all relevant correspondence, saving and uploading copies to the internal folders and relevant client tools

  • Attend client remote and face to face meetings where necessary and provide updates on project
