In 2009 KTL Installed, Commissioned and Tested 195km of RF coaxial Cable.
In Addition we completed the following Integration and Commissioning Works:
- 400 x Base Stations Integrated and put on air
- 375 x M/W links
O2/Telefonica
- KTL recently awarded Sole Provider of Rollout Services to O2 Telefonica Ireland. The project is for rollout of all new sites over a two year contract. The project includes, Design & Build, Special Event Mobicell Deployment, M/W, CPN/WLL, Tx Design, Capacity Upgrades, OSS Engineering, Power Management
Vodafone
- KTL remains as one of two Contractors providing services to Vodafone, including Base Station Construction, M/W, Planned Maintenance of over 2000 Base Station sites countrywide.
- Recently completed phase 1 of a major network upgrade.
Huawei - O2 Ireland Tx Upgrade
- Swap out of live Transmission Links on the O2 network.
- Successfully completed 50%
Ericsson - Tara Ran Refresh
- Completed over 50% of Base Station swaps to date.
Tetra Rollout
- New Emergency Services network deployed by Tetra Ireland.
- KTL contracted to rollout in excess of 300 new sites, country wide.
Ericsson Meteor Satrun Project
- New 3g Network rolled out nationwide for MMC
- KTL contracted to rollout in excess of 300 new sites, country wide.
O2 Enigma Project
- KTL contracted to complete 1200 live base station swaps in less than 12 months
- Less than 0.3% of Aborts on project.
