Strategic Partners
Gaeltec was set up in Ireland in 2003, by its parent Portuguese company Tegael. Gaeltec and KTL formed a joint venture in 2008.The JV has an overall resource in excess of 300, including management, administration, technical and construction staff. We are also involved in wind farm construction in Portugal and Ireland for ‘balance of plant’ supply and installation. Tegael are part of a winning consortium (EDP, Enercom and Finerge, Tegael) for a 1.2 GW wind farm development awarded by the Portuguese Government.
Our strategy is to grow the JV in terms of extended services and new markets.
