"Killarney Telecom (KTL) provided rigging and electrical resources to Panama and Honduras to help out Digicel and Ericsson late last year 2008. Both projects were massive in scale and comprised over 1500 green field sites. The part of the project KTL was involved was on the critical path so their resources had been called at extremely short notice. Nonetheless, they were able to help with the completion of the project despite very tight deadlines and difficulties associated with logistics and weather. The KTL teams worked diligently and in unfamiliar surroundings to bring the rollout back on track.
The effort of the KTL team to support Ericsson as Digicel prime contractor allowed us to bring service to the above mentioned countries in a record time in the middle of a very bad rainy season. This effort is a testament to the skills, dedication and resourcefulness of the company."
